Founders Welcome
Hello Families!
We are Arvin and Divya, two proud owners of The Sapling School in both Kendall Park, NJ and Fair Lawn, NJ. With a doctorate in pharmacy and multiple businesses between the both of us, we bring a diverse background to our school to better serve our community. We are parents of two wonderful children but feel as though all the students in our schools are our children. Their safety, development, and happiness are our main concerns. We believe that the early childhood development of children is a special and important time in their lives. Our school advocates for the importance in strong beginnings. Much like a tree, a child starts its journey as a sapling. With nutrient rich soil, air to grow into, sunshine, and plenty of love, that sapling will grow into a strong and independent tree. This very concept is what inspires us to provide the level of excellence many families have come to know and love. We have taken the time to build wonderful educational facilities, with the families in mind. Our goal is to provide parents with peace of mind when it comes to picking the right school for their child. About the Sapling School
The Sapling School is a child care provider; children from infancy to five years of age experience a balanced education through learning and play. With more than 15 years of experience, our trained staff has been assisting parents in stimulating the intellectual, emotional, and social growth of young minds. Our programs are tailored to match each child’s unique needs and abilities. Whether your child is entering our Infant Program, Kindergarten Program, or any of those in between, he or she will experience a vibrant curriculum designed to maximize their education and help them realize their learning potential. Our thematic approach to instruction ensures all lessons and subjects are relevant, diverse, and developmentally appropriate. With a Kindergarten program, Summer Camp, After Care and more, TSS has it all! Parents feel comfortable knowing we provide nutritional meals to assist in holistic growth, daily reports via iPad to track each child’s progress, and optional access to our live internet cameras from their home computers.
Mission Statement
Our goal is to provide the fertile ground in which a child can place strong roots, and a firm foundation to prepare for all that lies ahead in their lives. It is our firm belief that all children must be given every opportunity to develop a healthy mind and body as they grow, not only physically, but cognitively, emotionally, and socially. Social intelligence and emotional IQ are often as crucial as academic ability. Furthermore, we constantly work to instill respect, good behavior, and proper etiquette, so our children feel comfortable engaging in social situations.
By combining our proven philosophy, our dedicated staff, and highly involved parents, our children will be more than ready to take the next step in their education upon graduation. Many will even be reading and writing above grade level. When it comes to the education, socialization, and emotional development of a child, The Sapling School believes there is no such thing as starting too soon.
